The Science Inquiry Process
Many models for the scientific process exist. In fact, if you regularly offer science activities in your program, you may already have settled on a process that works for you. If not, the SciGirls model is an easy 7-step version of the inquiry process.

Watch this video, which will provide a good overview of the SciGirls science inquiry model.



As girls develop their questions as part of the inquiry process, you may need to guide them in some essential aspects of the scientific method. This video goes over some of the things they will need to consider, including testing one variable at a time.
